Documenting, not amplifying

FascismUSA is an independent watchdog newsroom and reference archive dedicated to tracking the American far right — its organizations, financiers, propaganda networks, and tactics. We started because journalists, educators, and researchers kept reconstructing the same map from scattered fragments; our job is to maintain that map in one place, with sources, so others can verify rather than rediscover.

What we publish

Our work has three layers. A living database of far-right organizations, updated as verified information changes. Source-verified dossiers that profile groups, movements, and funding networks with citations you can follow. And weekly field reporting that places events in context, connecting local activity to national patterns. Every claim is sourced; where evidence is thin, we say so explicitly.

  • A continuously updated reference database of U.S. far-right organizations.
  • Source-verified dossiers with full citations for follow-up reporting and research.
  • Weekly reporting that contextualizes events for journalists and educators.

Our standards

We are researchers, not participants. We do not call for harassment, we correct errors visibly, and we distinguish clearly between documented fact and inference. Our audience is journalists, academic researchers, educators, and policymakers doing serious work. Explore the archive on this site, follow the citations, and use the database in your own reporting or teaching — that is what it is for.

We maintain strict separation between documentation and advocacy: the archive records what is verifiable, marks what is contested, and never traffics in rumor. Submissions and corrections from readers are reviewed against primary sources before anything enters the database. If you are a journalist on deadline, an educator building a unit, or a researcher mapping the terrain, this site is built to be cited. Start with the database and the dossiers.
